Talk about school shootings. It has been quite some time seen Virginia (some guy cracked under social stress and went around “purifying” his school grounds) and now we have the same situation happening in another country.

I think the worst school shooting everyone can remember is the Columbine High School in which 2 schoolboys went around ventilating their schoolmates with assorted firearms. Yes that is quite some time ago but probably one of the worst that ever happened around the world, thus many youths (usually those who are socially inept or handicapped) somehow idolise Harris and Klebold, and quite a number sought to re-enact such happenings in their own school. Actually in my personal opinion,

I give my fullest support for any student in any school who wants to do this.

Go ahead with the WTFs and “You are nuts”.

Go ahead and close this page if you want. Go ahead and condemn me.

Before you “X” this page take a _l_ from me up your arse as you climb back to your moral high ground.

As for those of you who are interested in knowing why, you are welcome to read the rest of my “hubris”.

Personal Experience

Back in 1999, I read in the newspapers (I was still 11-year-old at the time) that a couple of kids went into their school and shot up their classmates. At that time I was still stupid, and I condemned the kids as terrorists of schooling. But after I joined Secondary school, I changed my stance and quite approve of what they have done.

I would say that it is quite an intelligent opinion, but not quite. The reason then why I stood by their side is because I was picked on in school for being different. I am not one of the white sheep in the school, but neither am I the black, the sheepdog nor the wolf-in-sheep’s-clothing (if you get what I mean). School has become a really uninteresting routine in which we stuff academic junk down ourselves just to pass exams. Nobody really thought about what contraceptives really are during science lessons (and none of the girls used it anyway when they get fornicated by their boyfriends), schools make us pay to go for “enhanced learning technique workshops” (Google is your friend if you want such techniques for free), and even the principal sucks up to the school inspectors by sending model students for interview.

The idea of schooling has become “people who think differently are not allowed in school”. Sure you can dispute that by quoting all that filtered info the various school magazines or your government has fed you, but the truth is that you have not even experienced it at all, or at least not at the extreme ends in which you have to lie to your parents that you are enjoying school so to make them not worry (also because they think that you are in the wrong all the time) or lie to your small circle of friends saying that it is a problem you can handle on your own (most of them are socially outcasted like you).

I myself have been on both the accepted and unaccepted side while in school. It is great to have friends, but sometimes your friends may not be there for you (mostly chronological reasons, TRUE friends will be there for you MOST of the time), it becomes a one-man stand. Most kids are not like Zhang Fei from Romance of the Three Kingdoms and is able to hold back an army purely by the force of personality (neither do they have big scary beards). Escape is difficult when it becomes physical, and getting beaten up once in a while after school becomes a norm (the teacher thinks that I PROVOKED them into beating me up, and it subsequently becomes another bash-up because I told the teachers).

Nobody really cares about these socially different kids, so they end up becoming homicidal or suicidal. The wiser ones become suicidal (because they think that it is wrong to take OTHERS’ lives), the intelligent ones become homicidal (and subsequently become overly-introverted, bullies, sadists or Columbiners themselves). Stupid ones become emo, masosadistic, or just die.

I stumbled upon The Anarchist Cookbook when I was at the urge of breaking down, and I almost became a Columbiner (a FIRST in my country if I did, pity I didn’t). I was so close to getting streamed out of my Express stream, but after reading it, I realise that I can have my revenge, but I need my wits to plan out a foolproof killing.

My thirst for revenge is apparently forgotten as I spend more time on the computer, internet and library reading up on the subtopics of my original “assassination plan”.

I am the product you see today. A socially ignorant (low EQ if your lingua franca is pathetic), negatively-charged, insensitive, idealistic, lingual extremist with a morbid sense of humour.

What Is Really Bad Parenting

I have read a few books about parenting, and in my honest opinion, most of them are total bullshit. In a nutshell….

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GUIDE TO PARENTING.

It is obvious that the followers of such guides can’t see far. They should go borrow some useful books like “On The Shoulders Of Giants” by Stephen Hawking.

Do you think you can bring up your child with such books? If so, what makes you think that you can read your child’s mind all the time? What makes you think you can monitor your child 24/7?

A good parent, in my opinion, should be like an umbrella attached to a train-track switch. It should not shield the child all the time, but at the same time, it should not let the child be wet in the rain or baked in the sun. Just let your child be him/herself, but be wary that he does not become a total goody-two-shoes (a less politically correct term would be cocksucker), nor should she embrace slutdom with open legs.

IQ is as important as EQ in the real world, but some people are born with limitations on intellect or social skills, thus it is best to do what you can for your child, but at the same time don’t stifle him/her, as it destroys what made each and every of us unique, the FORCE of PERSONALITY.

It is best to start out as a clueless parent with your own beliefs about what you should do for your child and heed ALL advices along your way (it is truth that all advices are right, just that some are not properly phrased). My parents made a mistake about not trusting me and imposing capital punishment too many times, resulting in me being extremely stubborn as I was today.

Think of your child as an investment that holds a definite win, in which the prize is experience.

As for those irresponsible parents who are out there wasting their time protesting against violent video games and politically incorrect media, it is time you take some time off your pathetic campaigning and hang out with your kids. The reason why your children become victims to sex predators over the net or gun violence is because of YOU. It has already been scientifically proven that recessive genes do pass down (just that scientists have not mapped the gene for stupidity). If you have proven yourself to be adaptive to the changing world, your kids will be too.

In fact, the coolest mum or dad is not a parent who dresses or acts like what their kids are, but is in fact one who ATTEMPTS to understand their kid the most. It is okay if you totally don’t understand them as parents (my parents never did in my life even now), there is something called generation gap in this rapidly changing world.

After all, it is the effort and thought that counts.

WTF Are You Doing Kiddo?

As for you kids out there who are reading this. I am just going to stand by the side and watch what you do to your life. After all, it is yours to live.

One thing I do understand about cliques is that they tend to be very political, and every student leader election is just like a state election, lots of backstabbing, power-playing, etc. In any political system, the one with the largest number of votes win, not the one with the most unique idea (although it can be said that unique ideas draw supporters, but it is just something to be played on by the one who produces it).

I do believe in “being yourself”, but adhering to a personal principle requires one to have a strong sense of understanding of others( Sun Tzu’s Art Of War – Know Thy Enemies ) . Some people which you hate are in fact, willing to accept you. You don’t have to change, all you need to do is to accept some of their ideas, because there is bound to be SOMETHING both parties find in common (like how that female student leader is acting like a slut or how the principal enjoys sucking the school inspector’s cock).

The biggest picture we can find in the world right now is the condamning (spelling error intended) of each others’ religion. Pardon my straightforwardness and slight cultural insensitivity, a overzealous Christian preacher is an EQUIVALENT to a Muslim extremist because…

1. Both religions are Abrahamic.

2. Both are attempting to change another party’s mindset through active brainwashing (in both scenarios, the “victim’s” personal perception of reality and ideology is bombed by either words or an IED).

3. Both are humans and are thus equally stupid.

Similarly, be it a Communist and a Capitalist, Conservative or Liberal or at a school level, a popular kid and an outcast, it follows the “same set of equivalence”,

1. Both exist on the 3rd rock from the sun.

2. Both are trying to get people on their side (be it parents, schoolmates, teachers, whatever living being).

3. Both are human and are thus equally stupid.

The BEST is to take up a moderate stance. It is okay to have your own ideals, but accepting part of another person’s would actually make your ideal stronger, because by being able to argue for, you are able to argue AGAINST.

And yes, screw political correctedness. In fact, the “politically correct” term for “political correctedness” is CULTURAL SENSITIVITY.

But I don’t believe in either because I see both lying. Too bad for the sleeping dog.

Conclusion

Call me heartless, but I spare little pity for the 9 kids being gunned down. This situation can only be avoid if each and everyone constant remind ourselves of tolerance towards one another, though shit does happen sometimes because we lost track of such things. School shootings will act as reminders not for gun control or media violence, but rather the touch lost in families and trust lost between schoolmates.

I don’t believe that any human being is right, nor is he wrong. Keep in mind that you, as a person, regardless of whatever damned nationality, race, language, religion, skin-colour, <insert a segregatory descriptor>, you are a bottle of water and is not worth a single cent intially until you add flavouring. Society is just like a cocktail, that is why everyone gets drunk and disillusioned living in it, thus taking some effort to snap out of that trance.

And for those potential Columbiners, don’t be stupid. Plan carefully before executing. And make sure you bring enough ammo to leave no witnesses or trace. If you think your plan is not foolproof, don’t carry it out. Besides, what is death to your enemy compared to eternal ruination of his/her ego?

And if you are one of those cliquish little charlatans, it is time you learn how to accept someone who is radically different. It is difficult, but there is really nothing to feel sheepish about. The wheels of fortune will turn, and it is better to have a variety of allies rather than a number of it.

It is a pity Harris and Klebold didn’t survive their shootout, nor did any of the major school shooters. They could be the PREVENTORS of such incidences from happening ever again, but apparently, history has to repeat itself as a reminder of what is actually precious to us all.

Stupid military service. What a waste of time.

I need to be more open and post more often if I want site traffic. But somehow I am lacking in something called time.

IMO, both the title and the rhythm make it quite fitting for a Macross series fighting theme.

P.S I am addicted to Minori Chihara’s Yuki, Muon, Madobe Nite (雪、無音、窓辺にて。). It is Yuki Nagato’s character song in Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu, which I rediscovered in some obscure location in my old hard drive. Haven’t heard it for a long time though. Lovely, maybe I will get a violin and try to play the string acoustic parts.

P.P.S The reason why I am raving about this old anime (Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu) in the past few days is because COSFEST ’08 IS COMING!!!!! I went to my first because of this anime (I wasn’t really an anime fan until THIS), and I missed last year’s due to ‘A’s. Hopefully I can get a costume up, it is next week.

This is AYA here!

Finally the recording has ended!

However, it is not complete yet as the sound engineer has not finished compiling the sound source.

While singing for the recording, I was curious about how it would turn out like. The atmosphere had made me felt much more excited.

I will do my best for the live! It would be a pleasure to sing the new songs. I would like to hear from everyone about the pack when it dispatches! Everyone is excited after a month of waiting, don’t you think?

P.S I will continue referring to Ayako as Miharu, to prevent complications due to the fact that I am a fan of the Seiyuu/Singer Hirano Aya of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (2006) fame too. Also, just in case I get a stay-in unit after my course, I might not be able to do the translations on the day of release of the newsletter, but I will try my best to get the translations up once I book out.

There is this girl who joined BeForU NEXT 4 years ago as Arisawa Miharu and turned the world upside down with her powerful voice and crazy personality. She left in 2007 “due to an illness”.

In 2008 she resurfaced as Kobayashi Ayako and caused a temporary blackout lasting an hour on beatrevolution servers on i-revo (only Haruhi can do that……).

Here is the I-revo link to the main site. She is releasing a new album named Super Virgin on 27/7/2008.

There will be four songs on the album, I will update later/tomorrow because….

UPDATE : Ignore the picture. It went through already. The four songs are LOVELY GAME, Moonlight Destiny, Super Virgin and Free Falcon. Currently what I can say is that the details are still sketchy, but it isn’t going to stop me from getting one of her new albums.

After surviving 6 days in the same clothing and a rusty rifle, I am finally back. But I am booking back in again today. Bliss.

I wish I can get into a unit that allows me time to study for my A levels (as well as watch anime).

Well cya all peeps. I am tired out.

Goodness me, I have been in and out of camp for the past 3 weeks with absolutely no time to myself. And I have to stay in camp for the next 2 weeks again.

Just a small thing about NS, I realise that I have been excessively self-centred and overly self-sufficient that I hate teamwork the moment I start on it. I wish I can change a little much faster because I am having field camp starting next Saturday. Bliss.

And one more thing about BeForU, from my sources, I heard that the Shinzen are releasing a new album soon. Hopefully I can update this post by tomorrow.

Anyone going to Sayaka’s concert with me? It is on the 29th of June, 2 weeks after I POP.

Hypocrisy is paramount in camp. Beware.
